Hi There, I’m Flo!

And just like you, I wear a lot of different hats! By day, I’m an online marketer, blogger, entrepreneur, product creator, and the CEO of my company, Flo Moore Omnimedia.

But I’m also a busy hopeful wife and mom, a daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. I’m a Midwestern girl at heart, a wannabe exerciser, and a big fan of traveling, cozy gatherings, a good book, and homemade french bread & butter (Mmmmmm….homemade bread…).

And I am on a journey to pay off debt.

i used to feel overwhelmed

Back in 2023, after going through some of the most challenging times of my life, I was beyond stressed, depleted, and overwhelmed.

It also helped me begin to take back control of my finances and begin to crush my biggest goals.

That led me to learning more about all cash budgeting, cash stuffing, and being a better steward of my money.

It’s hard to believe isn’t it? When life feels so chaotic and crazy, how can we make progress towards our big financial dreams?

I used to think this too. I felt guilty for doing anything “for myself.” That is, until I realized that when I take time to plan my days, weeks, and months, I was able to reclaim my sanity.

If I can do it, you can too!

That was it. I had been trying to share quick tips, cute solutions, and programs – but organization is all about changing your MIND first.

I knew the Organize 365 podcast would be powerful because other podcasts had the power to change my mindset. But I had NO idea HOW powerful.

In August 2016, I published the Amazon #1 Best Seller The Mindset of Organization – Take Back Your House One Phase at a Time.

I followed that in June 2017 with my second Amazon #1 Best Seller How ADHD Affects Home Organization – Understanding the 8 Key Executive Functions of the Mind.

Productive Maker is an ever-changing and growing body of work that I am passionately pursuing with all my heart to help you live a more organized life.

Back in 2023, after going through some of the most challenging times of my life, I was beyond stressed, depleted, and overwhelmed.

I knew something had to give, and finally, after very little money left in my bank account, I was scared enough for the future of my retirement to actually make a change.

Slowly but surely, I began creating simple systems for managing my home, systems that allowed me to spend less time on all that stuff I had to do, so that I could spend more time on the stuff I really wanted to do, like build my own online business.

It was a journey that I found many other women related to, and the community here at Busy Organizer began to grow.

And now, some years later, I have come to two important realizations.

I’ve realized that home systems don’t have to be complicated or perfect to work. The simpler, the better—even if it means cutting a few corners. The goal isn’t perfection, but managing your home well enough to free up time for all those other things you really want to do.

Other, I’ve discovered that getting a handle on your home life is essential for achieving any big goals, especially starting an online business. It’s challenging to focus on those aspirations when your home feels chaotic.

How it all began…

I started writing Busy Organizer in 2019 eager to build online business.

As a hopeful wife and mom, I desperately wanted to get away from the 9-to-5 and be available for my future family- All while having a career that lights me up.

I was struggling to hold it all together, and I kept thinking that if I could just find a way to get more organized, somehow my business and life would fall into place. I spent a lot of time researching, convinced there had to be a “perfect” system to get everything done, but all I got was more overwhelmed.

Not surprisingly, all that time spent researching on Google, looking for advice, wasn’t super awesome for my bank account, and soon my bank account had pennies, and not the thousands I’d hoped.
